Town Centre Management Initiative
The Town Centre Management initiative emphasises the importance of creating a high quality customer and visitor experience at every level, from cleansing, maintenance and safety, to marketing and promotion, special events, providing advice and assistance to local businesses and attracting inward investment.
It is centred on the belief that towns are complex organisms and that the problems that affect them can best be tackled through a town centre partnership that involves businesses, retailers, the local authority, statutory agencies, community groups and residents.
